H1N1 (Swine) Flu Information

Gateway Technical College is concerned about your health and will do its best to keep students and staff up to date with current and important information on the H1N1 (Swine) flu and its impact on the college.

Symptoms include:
• Fever greater than 100 degrees
• Body aches
• Coughing
• Sore throat
• Respiratory congestion
• In some cases, diarrhea and vomiting

What you can do to prevent the spread of flu:
• frequent hand-washing
• cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze
• avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth
• avoid close contact with sick people, at least 6 feet
• stay home if you’re sick
