WGTD Radio Theater holding open auditions

News Release:

The seven-time award winning WGTD Radio Theater and the 91.1 Players are again holding open auditions.

Auditions will be held noon to 2 p.m. Sept. 7 in Room 120 of Gateway’s Center for Bioscience and Information Technology on the Kenosha Campus, 3520-30th Ave.

Scripts will be provided for actors to read.

Theater officials are looking for children of all ages and men and women to audition.  Previous acting experience is preferred but is not required.

Most live broadcast performances of the WGTD Radio Theater are held at the Kenosha Campus of Gateway Technical College, with live broadcasts beginning at 11:15 a.m. and ending at noon.  Typically, only one rehearsal is held the Saturday before each live broadcast.

Actors do not have to memorize their lines for the performances because they use scripts.

The 10th season of WGTD Radio Theater begins in January, 2014.
