Gateway Technical College will co-host the 23rd Annual Walworth County Job Fair, a free event for job-seekers which provides many opportunities to meet with employers and apply for openings within those businesses.
The fair will be held March 20 at Lake Lawn Resort, 2400 E. Geneva St., Delavan. Those who have preregistered for the fair are able to attend noon to 2:30 p.m., and the fair opens to the general public 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The event is put on by Gateway, the Walworth County Economic Development Alliance and the Walworth County Job Center. A Web site has been set up providing job fair details at www.gtc.edu/jobfair.
The preregistration process will provide job seekers with professional feedback on how to create – or refine – a résumé, preparing a good first impression to a potential employer and how to clearly articulate job qualifications. Those seeking pre-registration should go to www.gtc.edu/job-seekers.
