Additional referendum proposal listening sessions set

Gateway Technical College has announced additional listening sessions for its expansion proposal, in each of the three counties it serves of Kenosha, Racine and Walworth.

Recent snowstorms caused Gateway officials to cancel some previous sessions and reschedule them to the times listed below.

The sessions are a way for Gateway officials to outline the proposal and gather community feedback. Questions will be answered on the referendum proposal, which will be decided by voters April 2.

  • March 18, 7 p.m., Waterford Union High School, LGI Room, 100 Field Drive, Waterford
  • March 20, 7:30 a.m., at the Mount Pleasant YMCA, MGR Room, 8501 Campus Drive, Mount Pleasant
  • March 22, 7:30 a.m., Gateway’s Elkhorn Campus, Room 112, 400 County Road H, Elkhorn

A previously announced March 18, 7 p.m., session will also be held at Westosha Central High School, 24617 75th St., Salem.

More information on the proposal can be found at www.gtc.edu/proposal.
