WREA Mission Statement
The Wisconsin Retired Educators' Association is an issue-oriented association of retired educators and others interested in education. We are committed to monitoring and improving the benefits for retired educators and other members of the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS). We inform our members about, and advocate for, educational and other relevant societal issues. We structure opportunities for our volunteer members to collaborate with one another and with organizations sharing similar goals. We provide a variety of intergenerational community services for our members and the public.

WREA Vision Statement
WREA strives to be the voice and choice of retired educators by providing dynamic leadership in promoting retiree interests and supporting strong public education. Being an association with vision, WREA embraces challenges to change and explores pathways to progress.
