Gateway, Wisconsin Lutheran College sign articulation agreement

Agreement to meet educational needs of transfer students

A new partnership gives Gateway Technical College graduates of select programs the opportunity to transfer to Wisconsin Lutheran College (WLC) at junior status to complete their baccalaureate degree.

The articulation agreement grants Gateway associate degree graduates of 19 programs transfer to WLC’s Bachelor of Science program in Business Management and Leadership, offered through the College of Adult and Graduate Studies.

“Gateway Technical College and Wisconsin Lutheran College have come together to ensure a convenient and affordable pathway for students,” said Manoj Babu, associate dean of business at Gateway Technical College. “Students can now couple an associate degree from Gateway with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Leadership from Wisconsin Lutheran College. This pathway allows for the easy transfer of many Gateway classes and programs, enabling students to successfully begin their journey to a valued Wisconsin Lutheran College degree.

“Wisconsin Lutheran offers Gateway students a wealth of opportunities to propel them to a successful career. In addition to strong education values, Wisconsin Lutheran College provides a great forum for servant leadership, creating leaders who are dedicated to the art of learning, serving, and being integral contributors within their communities.”

“Collaborating with community partners to deliver increasing numbers of highly qualified, well-educated candidates for professional employment is a key component of Wisconsin Lutheran College’s commitment to serving our community and the world,” commented James Brandt, vice president of adult and graduate studies at Wisconsin Lutheran College. “We are pleased that this articulation increases access to WLC’s Christian learning community for graduates of Gateway Technical College.”
