Prepare at Transfer Fair

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, April 2, to attend the Transfer Fair, where representatives from more than 20 colleges will be on hand. The event is set for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the North Building atrium on the Elkhorn Campus and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the S.C. Johnson Student Life Center in the Lake Building on the Racine Campus.

Students can find out about education opportunities at four-year colleges and universities, including many that transfer Gateway credits, said Manoj Babu, Associate Dean of Business at Gateway.

Some of the participating schools include Carthage College, the University of Wisconsin–Parkside, the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh, Milwaukee School of Engineering and Wisconsin Lutheran College.

“Students can come and go when it is convenient for them,” Babu said. “There will be prizes, great conversation, Rudy the Red Hawk and recruiters to meet.”

At the fair, students also can take steps to prepare for spring graduation including applying for graduation and completing financial aid exit counseling.
