Concealed Carry

Gateway Technical College is offering training and education for those wishing to obtain a concealed carry weapon permit. The training meets and exceeds Wisconsin's new concealed carry law requirements.

Training is conducted by Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ)-certified instructors who will provide quality, hands-on training to attendees. The course is eight hours, which exceed the DOJ's recommended number of hours to receive a concealed carry license. Attendees will have time to familiarize themselves with handguns and shoot one on a live range. You will also use computer simulated settings or air soft weapon scenarios such as those used to train police officers.

Students will be trained and allowed to take a state conceal/ carry test, which they must pass to obtain a class certificate.

Courses will be held at the following locations:

Kenosha Campus, 3520-30th Ave., Room T113 in Technical Building

  • Saturday March 23rd, 2013 0730-1600
  • Saturday April 27th, 2013 0730-1600
  • Saturday June 15th, 2013 0730-1600
  • Saturday July 20th, 2013 0730-1600
  • Saturday August 17th, 2013 0730-1600
