The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) is an assessed programme for students ages 16 to 19. It is respected by leading universities across the globe.
Students who participate in the IB DP can save on college tuition by fulfilling degree course requirements. Please read Gateway’s guidelines on accepting IB subject examinations below.
- To receive proficiency college credit, a student must be accepted into an associate degree, technical diploma, certificate or apprenticeship program offered by Gateway.
- To receive proficiency college credit, students must submit an official transcript of grades from IB to Gateway Technical College.
- To receive proficiency college credit (PR), a minimum score of 4 is required on Higher Level (HL) Exams.
